"I strongly believe that effective physiotherapy has to encompass the entire picture of each individual person"
I grew up in the small coastal town of Pambula in southern New South Wales. Since I was young I have always played any sport I possibly could, and as a result I spent a fair amount of time at the physio. This gave me a great taste of the benefit that physiotherapists can provide to people in pain and led to me studying my Physiotherapy degree at Charles Sturt University which I completed with honours.
After returning home to work for a few years, I made the move West last year. At the moment I am completing further training at Curtin University specialising in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy.
I strongly believe that effective physiotherapy has to encompass the entire picture of each individual person and I strive to ensure anyone who I see walks out with a good understanding of their issue and a plan going forwards.
Outside of work I love to stay active and you will find me running of the half back flank for Coolbinia Football Club. Feel free to ask me about my recent trip to Africa, fair warning though, it probably won’t be a short conversation.
